Pamela Jenkins is a native of Beaufort, South Carolina and is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Koils by Nature. The company was established in 2009 in Washington, DC. Pamela recently moved her headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia to take advantage of the thriving natural hair and skin care market in this area. Pamela is a graduate of Strayer University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems. She plans to continue her education by enrolling in the Maryland University of Integrated Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) to pursue a graduate certificate in Herbal Science.

Pamela demands perfection in all hair and skin care products, both of which provides strong elements of health and beauty for the hair and skin. As a result of these two combinations Koils by Nature’s is branded as “Blending the Essence of Beauty with the Purest of Nature”. Pamela believes her focus is to always provide here customers with “Quality over Quantity”.
Since the inception of Koils by Nature Pamela Jenkins has gained notoriety for her hair and skin care products. In 2010 Pamela was featured in The Examiner, NaturallyCurly.com. In 2012 Pamela was featured in Afrobella’s “Who Got Next”. She has partnered with many world renowned individuals in the natural hair industry, including the world’s largest afro record holder Aevin Dugas; natural hair bloggers: AfroBella Cassidy of Natural Selections; BeautifulBrownBabydoll; and celebrity hair stylists Felicia Leatherwood, and Natural Chica. Pamela created and hosted her first Koils by Nature event, Natural is NOT a Fad, which was highly successful and well attended. Since inception this event is held annually in Washington, DC.
Prior to starting her business Pamela Jenkins served in the United States Army. After her discharge from the military Pamela worked for the United States government as a Network Engineer. One of her many passions is working with young girls. In 2012/13 Pamela was invited to be a guest speaker at the Sophisticated Ladies Summer Camp in Washington, DC, which is a camp for inner city girls. Pamela spoke to the young ladies about her experience in the military and how extremely proud she is of having served her country as a member of the United States Army. She shared her personal experiences to encourage, empower, and motivate these young ladies to have dreams and set goals. She instilled in them the ability to be successful and positive contributors to the community.
Giving back is near and dear to Pam’s heart. A portion of the proceeds from Koils by Nature products and events is donated to charitable organizations; such as, The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, Lupus Foundation of America, Upper Marlboro Young Marines & ZuriWorks.
