Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

According to Steven R. Convey, the seven habits of highly effective people are as followed:

  1. Be Proactive.  Use the responsible free will to act, as you desire with integrity.
  2. Begin with the end in mind.  Have clearly defined values, cultivate a sense of purpose and mission, and visualize the results ahead of time.
  3. Put first things first.  Be able to distinguish core values from lesser values and act with integrity towards the deeper ones (with discipline and sacrifice as necessary)
  4. Think win/win.  Aim for mutual acceptance and empowerment; strive for connectedness; and build on integrity, maturity, and abundance mentally.
  5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood. Use caring love and acceptance and sense of connectedness when dealing with others.
  6. Synergize. Accept, and even appreciate difference; try creative cooperation and connectedness; work from common sense of mission and purpose; and have a positive expectation.
  7. Renew yourself. Experience a send of purpose and mission (commitment); continued growth, and meditative reflection and visualizations.
